International Women's Day 2024

Morning tea is out, making a real difference is in.

For International Women's Day this year, we’re breaking tradition. Partly because our morning teacup is overflowing but mostly because we want to make a positive difference far beyond the studio.

So, morning tea is out, and instead, we have donated to a fantastic charity, One Girl - a not-for-profit organisation that works to break the cycle of gender inequality by providing girls and young women with the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. By investing in their education and well-being, they are creating a ripple effect that will reach generations to come. We are proud to support One Girl.

The theme for International Women’s Day is Inspire Inclusion, which got us thinking. It goes beyond just celebrating diversity and empowerment, it’s a call to action, so One Girl felt like the perfect choice for us:

💜 One Girl is girl led

💜 They’re all about positive partnerships

💜 They support the education of girls and young women

💜 They work internationally (based in Melbourne, serving Sierra Leone)

💜 They provide financial and social support, as well as build life skills.

💜 It’s an opportunity to take concrete steps that can make a significant impact.

💜 Our donation will provide lunch money for 20 students for a month.

We take great pride in being a predominantly female-led business with many remarkable female clients. Diversity and equality are incredibly important to us, on many levels. Supporting International Women's Day stems from a genuine desire to show our young community that women have a valuable seat at the table. We want to show women that women can be fierce and fearless, passionate, creative, and successful. It’s more than just a cause, it’s a promise to shape a future where every woman feels empowered and celebrated 🫶.
